This probably comes naturally as you play the game. You will try out almost all of these weapons by doing all the rampage missions on the first two islands. All the weapons will appear at your safehouse when you collect all the hidden Packages.

The remote detonator is required for this achievement. If you did not use it during the mission, you can go to the 8-ball shop in Shoreside Vale (the third island near the pay n' spray) with any car, choose the remote detonator from the weapons wheel and detonate it.

    -------------------------------

    Story Missions

    Complete all 48 Story Missions
    • Portland – 21 Missions
    • Staunton Island – 26 Missions
    • Shoreside Vale – 1 Mission

*You should complete the Ambulance, Police and Fire Truck side missions in Portland first, before starting the “Toni Cipriani” Story missions. They are easy at first, but they get extremely difficult as you progress. You need a lot of patience to complete them, because the enemies will become more hostile and have better weapons.

*It's also a good idea to finish the “Rampage” side missions in Portland, before starting “Toni Cipriani” missions: because the enemies will become more hostile and have better weapons.

    -------------------------------

    Pay Phone Missions

Complete all 17 Pay Phone Missions
    • Portland – 8 Missions
    • Staunton Island – 4 Missions
    • Shoreside Vale – 5 Missions

*Don’t delay the Payphone side missions in Portland. When you see the “Payphone” icon on the map, do them right away. The enemies will get stronger and more violent as you progress. They can destroy your vehicle with a few shots from their improved weapons.

    -------------------------------

    Vehicle Missions

    • Paramedic: Reach and Complete Level 12 -

*If you start this at the beginning of the game,
this is easy, but as you progress, the enemies become hostile and aggressive with
improved weapons, which makes it very difficult.

    • Firefighter: extinguish 60 fires, 20 on each island
    • Vigilante: kill 60 criminals, 20 on each island
    • Taxi Driver: complete 100 fares

    -------------------------------

    Off-Road Missions

    Complete all 4 Off-Road Missions
    • Patriot Playground – Portland
    • Multistorey Mayhem – Staunton Island
    • A Ride in the Park – Staunton Island
    • Gripped! – Shoreside Vale

    -------------------------------

    RC Missions

    Complete all 4 RC Missions
    • Diablo Destruction – Portland
    • Mafia Massacre – Portland
    • Casino Calamity – Staunton Island
    • Rumpo Rampage – Shoreside Vale

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

    Import/Export Lists

    Complete all 3 Import/Export lists
    • Emergency Vehicle List – Portland
    • Industrial Vehicle List – Portland
    • Suburban Vehicle List – Shoreside Vale

*You need a 5 Star Wanted Level to obtain the FBI vehicle. I collected all the hidden packages that unlock all the weapons at the safe house. I destroyed all the vehicles with a rocket launcher until I reached a 5 star wanted level, then I eliminated the FBIs, snatched the car, and hit all 6 Blue Bribe icons at the safe house.

    -------------------------------

    Rampages

    Complete all 20 Rampages
    • Portland – 6 Rampages
    • Staunton Island – 7 Rampages
    • Shoreside Vale – 7 Rampages

*The rampage side missions become very easy due to a glitch, where the enemies will freeze if you enter the blue rampage icon with a wanted star level. I always save after each rampage mission. If I die, I reload because the rampage icon changes to another location.

    -------------------------------

    Unique Jumps

    Complete all 20 Unique Jumps
    • Portland – 8 Unique Jumps
    • Staunton Island – 4 Unique Jumps
    • Shoreside Vale – 8 Unique Jumps

SoloKingxRobert posted a guide for Not So Fast.

You have no weapons at the start of this mission, which makes it quite difficult. You can return to the hideout and get some weapons if you have collected some of the secret packages before. The most useful weapons are the sniper and the rocket launcher.

Follow the helicopter and run over the 2 Gangsters at the entrance. On the grass a few feet ahead, there is a sniper icon with 5 bullets. Kill the ones above you and grab all the weapons they drop. I stayed back and killed the enemies. Kill all the Gangsters and get the rocket launcher. Fire at the helicopter when it flies straight at you. It’s simple once you figure out the route.

Before starting this mission, be sure to stock up on weapons, such as Grenades and RPGs. When you reach the private car park, use the remaining time to barricade the exits with vehicles, by taking them from the car park. This will simplify the mission by preventing the suicide bombers from approaching you.

SoloKingxRobert posted a guide for Furious First Responder.

To earn the Achievement, you need to do:

    Paramedic:
    level 12 in one go

You should complete this Paramedic mission at the beginning of the game, before attempting any missions in Portland. The hostiles will grow more aggressive as the game progresses. This level becomes harder when they start shooting at your vehicle. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to finish.
    -------------------------------------------

The others are quite easy because they accumulate, so you can do them in multiple attempts.

    Vigilante
    20 on Portland
    20 on Staunton Island
    20 on Shoreside vale

    Firefighter
    20 on Portland
    20 on Staunton Island
    20 on Shoreside vale

On Shoreside Vale, I found a glitch with the fire truck. Just stay on the street where the phone box icon is, and the burning cars will keep reappearing on the same street, back and forth.

Disclaimer: Complete "Playing Doctor Achievement" before starting any missions at the beginning of the game in Portland. It will become extremely difficult once gang members become hostile.

To get the achievement, you need to collect 20 police bribes. These are small, blue symbols with a gold badge on them that float around the map. Some are easy to spot, while others are more concealed.

You’ll easily unlock this achievement naturally throughout the game. However, if you somehow don’t, you can stay near the home icon and run people over until you’re wanted. Then, drive to your apartment and collect the police bribe icons.

This is one of Donald Love mission, who has a "D" icon on the map. It involves taking a boat and picking up some packages for him.

You can reach the boat on the map with any car or boat, you'll still have plenty of time. After getting 6 packages, you get a 5-star chase. I collected 6 packages and headed to the nearest Pain n Spay. You can get rid of the cops at Pain n Spay, even if they're there. Then you can complete the mission.

This achievement is quite easy because vehicle physics are quite glitchy. I naturally completed it by doing missions, jumping off ramps. You can get it at the beginning of the game, in Portland. Try using a fast car.

Complete this Achievement before starting any missions at the beginning of the game in Portland.

Do not start any missions on Portland until you have this Achievement. The “Playing Doctor achievement” is simple to do now, but it will become very tough and time consuming when the gangs are aggressive. Take advantage of the shortcuts in Portland and the speedy hospital access and departure. The more time you save on each patient, the more time you earn.

For example, it was quick to get in and out of the Hospital with one or two patients in my ambulance, and it increased my time by 25 seconds.

Missable Achievement. I recommend saving the game before attempting this achievement.

You can’t unlock the achievement if you do the mission and then die or mess up.

Mikes Lips Mission: It’s the fourth mission in the game. (It is Joey’s first Mission).

Don’t damage the car after you get the target car. You have to collect the car and arm it with a bomb then bring the car back. You should have plenty of time from A to B.

Press left on the D-Pad to arm the bomb.

I would suggest doing the side mission to unlock this Achievement.

In Portland, there’s a phone call from across the road from Joey’s garage at the pet food plant. The 2nd mission from that will have you crush a car that you find inside the factory’s gate.

Missable: Triads and Tribulations mission: You can save the game if you want, it’s quite easy to unlock this achievement.

You will have 2 gangsters with you and they need to stay alive. You need to kill 3 groups of enemies but there are many rival gangs on the streets. I would suggest using your vehicle to kill the closest enemy.

1: Go to the closest enemies first. Run them over

2: Go to the farthest enemies next. Go around the back of the warehouse area and up a grassy hill. You can shoot at them from the hill.

3: Lastly, go to the enemies in the alley, these are quite difficult as your vehicle can’t get through the bollards. I stopped near the bollards and charged at the rival gang. If one of the gangsters dies before this point, restart the mission by letting a rival gang member kill you.

You will unlock the achievement if both of your gangsters are still alive. I recommend doing the alley one last as it’s quite difficult to get back in the vehicle without your allies getting killed.

Disclaimer: Complete "Playing Doctor Achievement" before starting any missions at the beginning of the game in Portland. It will become extremely difficult once gang members become hostile.

    This Achievement is Missable...

Before Starting "FAREWELL "CHUNKY" LEE CHONG" (Joeys 2nd mission), I would suggest saving the Game.

Start the mission and go near the target BUT NOT TOO NEAR. Chunky is blocked by barricades in all three alleyways.

You will find a car, a Perennial to the south, at two of the entrances. Get in one and take it to 8-Ball to put a bomb in it. You can only go to the shop in the northeast at this point. After the bomb is in, bring the car back to where you got it from and turn on the bomb.

I stole the car and left it a block away. When you are ready, go to Chunky. His gang will attack you while he runs for the closest car. If you did everything right, the closest car will be the Perennial you set up, he’ll get in, and you will unlock the achievement.

You need to complete “Pump Action Pimp” mission to unlock “The Fuzz Ball”, the final mission for Luigi. Before the mission starts, go and grab a coach from the place south of Joey’s garage. This will help you when the mission starts.

At the start of the mission, drive and pick up all the girls (go from the top to the bottom), it's quicker either way. You can fit them all in one trip and still have time.

When you reach the mission marker, watch the girls get out of the coach, walk to the door and stumble… then the Achievement should unlock.

Don’t fret if you missed the achievement after completing the “Turismo” mission, because you can replay the race again.

The Banshee is a good choice of car for this, and you can find it at “Capital Autos” in the glass display. It’s near 8-Ball’s bomb shop, in the upper right corner of the first map.

After finishing “Bomb the Base II” for Salvadore (marked by an “S” on the map), you will receive instructions to pick up a car from Luigi’s garage and crush it. However, as you approach his club, your pager will alert you of a change of plans. Avoid getting into the car, as it will blow up and make you fail the mission. Instead, go to the Pink marker on the map, where you will meet Maria. She will bring you to a new ally, Asuka. Together, you will board a boat and head to Staunton Island, unlocking the second island.

The next time you drive any vehicle, the radio will announce that the bridge connecting the 1st and second islands has been fixed, giving you access to both of them.

The easiest place to do this is Portland, and you can do it early in the game. I suggest you get to know the map a bit before you try, though. You can find a fire truck near the Junkyard. Get in and press up on the d-pad to start the mission.

It’s not that difficult. Just remember to use shortcuts, every fire you distinguish resets the time. Press LB to spray water and use the RS to aim.

    This is quite easy.

You can purchase lots of ammo at the weapon store in Portland, steal a police car, then go back to your home apartment, park your police car in the garage, and Save the game. Once you have messed up, you can reload the game.

When chasing down the criminals, in your Police Car press and hold X or B, depending on which side the vehicle is on, then press LB to fire.
