Failing a drug test.. wow if he's found to have been using in any capacity during his fights he's thru in the UFC and it will say a lot about DC weathering that storm..I would still like to see a rematch, sure. But Jones just majorly disappointed me by failing his drug test and checking into rehab. That's not how a father of three should be acting.Originally Posted by Kaens

The drug test was cocaine and it was a non competition testing. He passed his competition tests, so the DC fight stands. My problem is "cocaine?!? really?" Come on man, I can forgive a lot of stuff but not that. Hell I'm for roids, but only if everyone can use them. I think we should ALL be on steroids, not just cheating athletes!Failing a drug test.. wow if he's found to have been using in any capacity during his fights he's thru in the UFC and it will say a lot about DC weathering that storm..Originally Posted by B8TINGU

Cauliflower ear = hardcore wrestler and you know that guy has put in serious hours on the mat if he's got them. Good life lesson is don't mess with anyone with cauliflower ears All 'real' fights go to the ground and that guy is going to have the advantage. My co-worker has been training for MMA locally. Im not big on these other than I watched a few PPVs on a stream. His fight is on friday so I am curious to see how he does.Originally Posted by Lord KM
He was telling me about cauliflower ear and how rare it is to get and then it bursting is very uncommon.

I searched and found some stuff, he has 4 daughters and....the test was out of competition, but they also tested him again before the fight within the competition time and if that comes back hot the fight may change the standing of the fight, (NO CONTEST) and they would have to do it again. If he's going to be out for year they will have to have an interim champion until he gets back then the and the interim will have to fight.. so a rematch may not be out of the question.. UFC rules state you have to be willing and able to defend your championship belt at the very minimum of every 6 months, that's why they took GSP's belt from him, because he said he wanted to take some time off.. interesting things..The drug test was cocaine and it was a non competition testing. I presume you didn't follow the link and watch the post game, maybe you're still having problems with your player, but he said in there he's getting his life together and moving to NM and going to train year round. Right now he's still fucking around and playing video games and apparently doing drugs when he doesn't have a fight coming up.

Nope! Which is why I brought it to everyone's attention! He's not going to loose the belt. Dana knew about the failed test PRIOR to the fight and still held the event. Reebok is backing him still, saying they support his rehab and he' won't be out a year. So sorry, Cormier still can't beat him and Jones is still a better fighter. I just take back the good guy comment.Still sound like good guy to you?Originally Posted by B8TINGU

Diaz is one of those fighters I have a hate/love affair with.. I really like him he's great fighter and very emotional, but sometimes he takes it too far, he has a need to hate his opponents no matter what. He reminds me of an angrier Tito Ortiz..One thing for sure though he can back up any trash talk, but against Silva...I just don't think so, unless Silva is gun shy.. or has ring rust..I'm surprised he's back at all, frankly. He may never be the same fighter due to his age and the nature of his losses. I'd still like to see Diaz embarrassed at the very least.Originally Posted by Obsidian Tides

My thoughts pretty much exactly but I kind of like Tito and Rampage.. either way I'm going to call it right here, No way it's going to dession, someone is going to get knocked out or submitted.I completely love both Diaz brothers and I cannot say why. Some heels I love, like Koscheck or Tim Silva, others I hate, like Rampage or Tito. This is a tough one for me because I love Anderson and I love Nick. I still haven't decided what to root for, I just hope it's a war and they both do their best.Originally Posted by Kaens
